Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and making travel arrangements
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Maintain and update files, records, and databases
- Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks
- Assist with payroll processing and maintaining employee records
- Perform general bookkeeping tasks such as journal entries and general ledger reconciliation
- Assist with financial concepts and analysis as needed
- Handle confidential information with discretion
Experience:
- Previous experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Familiarity with double-entry bookkeeping and general ledger accounting
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
