Position Responsibilities:
- Assisting residents and employees at the nurse’s station
- Assist with creating charts for admissions and breaking down charts at discharge.
- Maintain office supplies for the nursing department team.
- Keep the Nurse's station organized and orderly.
- Answering telephones, assisting caller, or forwarding to the correct person.
- Welcoming visitors, screening, and assisting with visitor badges.
- Assist DON and Nurse Manager with clerical tasks, including but not limited to scheduling appointments with vendors, assisting with patient appointments at outside facilities, scanning documents, managing family visitation schedule, etc. Assist with needs during the onboarding process.
- Assist with staffing schedule and payroll if needed.
- General clerical and administrative functions as assigned.
Education Competencies and Credentials:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel
- Excellent communication skills
Hours: 40 hours per week M-F may work occasional holidays.
