SUMMARY:
Manage and analyze data provided by prescribed retailers using retail databases and tools. The analysis includes POS, replenishment, financial, and logistics data. This analysis will provide the company with inventory opportunities and driven trends to gain revenue and share positioning in assigned retailer. This information will be used to provide accurate and detailed comparisons by category: department, color, size, brand, region, season, piece point, and store size/class to all levels within the organization. Additionally, this analysis will provide the sales team with the necessary tools to increase sales as well as aid in the forecasting of the business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Play an integral role in account strategy sessions by sharing information gained through database analysis;
Build an extensive and detailed database on key performance metrics including a detailed competitive landscape;
Manage the Walmart financial ladders to ensure alignment between Walmart replenishment and financial planners and Renfro forecasting and planning;
Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of Walmart sock programs, Walmart merchandising, and Walmart distribution systems;
Work closely with the replenishment and financial managers at Walmart to ensure that forecasts are accurate in order to service the business;
Works closely with Walmart Replenishment team to push inventory that will drive POS where there is opportunity
Works with sales to build promotional opportunities to drive incremental volume during key seasonal times frames based on data analysis
Share replenishment information with the companys forecast and demand planning teams to improve forecast accuracy, maximize inventory turns, and minimize obsolete inventory;
Establish and maintain a professional relationship with key Walmart personnel;
Play a key role in cross departmental account strategy sessions by sharing information gained in account analysis;
Communicate clearly and interact effectively with all levels within the company;
Periodically visit retail stores to better understand overall strategy of assigned accounts;
Treat all information obtained through Walmart with extreme confidentiality.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
5-7 years of business analytics experience in large apparel retailers;
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience;
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
Ability to understand complex logistical systems and multi-level marketing;
Exposure to merchandising and marketing functions with a mass market apparel manufacturer a plus
Travel within the United States - up to 20%
