Renhill is looking for a House Manager for our client in Toledo, OH. The House Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the organization's facilities, which provide service-enriched housing to homeless women and their children. This position involves supervising staff, coordinating facility-related activities, and upholding the organization's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision: Oversee House Monitors and facility volunteers, ensuring effective management and support.
- Volunteer Coordination: Organize and manage volunteer activities related to facility maintenance and operations.
- Donation Management: Handle the receipt and coordination of non-monetary donations in collaboration with the Facilities Manager.
- Inventory Control: Assess and manage inventory needs to ensure the availability of necessary supplies.
- Policy Adherence: Maintain strict confidentiality, follow organizational policies and procedures, and promote a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
- Experience: Prior experience in operations or management is preferred.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication abilities; proficiency in computer applications.
- Knowledge: Understanding of issues related to homelessness, substance use disorders, and mental health.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and navigate stairs comfortably.
- Willingness to undergo a criminal background check, and drug screening
- First Aid and CPR certification are advantageous.
