U.A.W represented position that will assist in assuring quality parts for various customer requirements.

Essential Functions

• Magnetic Particle Inspection of products throughout production environment.
• Hard Gage inspection on manufacturing assembly line, using standard measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers and plug gages.
• Verify that products, processes, and materials meet quality standards and regulations.
• Process inspection paperwork in a timely manner.
• Keep records of findings and non-compliance
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection.
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management.
• Obtain and maintain Mag partical certification and any other certification needed to perform functions of this role.
  
  

Position Requirements

Qualifications

• 2 Years inspection experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to read orders and work instructions
• Ability to follow directions and procedures
• Must be able to read and understand processes and process drawings
• Must have mechanical skills
• Must have mathematical skills
• Must be able to bend and lift, up to and including 50 lbs.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance
  
  

Preferred Additional Skills Or Certifications

• 2 years of inspection experience preferred
• Preference given for NAS 4.10 experience or certification.
• Preference given for ASQ CQT and or CQI certification or equivalent
• 2 years assembly and material handling experience preferred
