U.A.W represented position that will assist in assuring quality parts for various customer requirements.
Essential Functions
- Magnetic Particle Inspection of products throughout production environment.
- Hard Gage inspection on manufacturing assembly line, using standard measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers and plug gages.
- Verify that products, processes, and materials meet quality standards and regulations.
- Process inspection paperwork in a timely manner.
- Keep records of findings and non-compliance
- Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection.
- Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
- Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
- Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management.
- Obtain and maintain Mag partical certification and any other certification needed to perform functions of this role.
Qualifications
- 2 Years inspection experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read orders and work instructions
- Ability to follow directions and procedures
- Must be able to read and understand processes and process drawings
- Must have mechanical skills
- Must have mathematical skills
- Must be able to bend and lift, up to and including 50 lbs.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance
- 2 years of inspection experience preferred
- Preference given for NAS 4.10 experience or certification.
- Preference given for ASQ CQT and or CQI certification or equivalent
- 2 years assembly and material handling experience preferred
