What are the responsibilities and job description for the NDT Inspector position at RENK?
U.A.W represented position that will assist in assuring quality parts for various customer requirements. Essential Functions : Magnetic Particle Inspection of products throughout production environment.Hard Gage inspection on manufacturing assembly line, using standard measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers and plug gages. Verify that products, processes, and materials meet quality standards and regulations. Process inspection paperwork in a timely manner.Keep records of findings and non-compliance Read and interpret blueprints and GD&TConduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection.Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management.Obtain and maintain Mag partical certification and any other certification needed to perform functions of this role.
Qualifications :
- 2 Years inspection experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read orders and work instructions
- Ability to follow directions and procedures
- Must be able to read and understand processes and process drawings
- Must have mechanical skills
- Must have mathematical skills
- Must be able to bend and lift, up to and including 50 lbs.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance Preferred Additional Skills or Certifications :
- 2 years of inspection experience preferred
- Preference given for NAS 4.10 experience or certification.
- Preference given for ASQ CQT and or CQI certification or equivalent
- 2 years assembly and material handling experience preferred
