As a VMware / Windows Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our virtualization infrastructure and Windows-based systems. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our IT infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of VMware technologies, Windows operating systems, and a strong problem-solving ability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and maintain VMware virtualization environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and virtual machines.
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Windows servers, ensuring security, stability, and performance.
- Monitor system performance and make proactive adjustments to ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Perform routine system updates, patches, and upgrades for both VMware and Windows environments.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for virtualized environments.
- Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement virtualization and Windows-related projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to VMware and Windows systems.
- Perform regular security audits and implement security best practices.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior team members.
