The Staffing Scheduler for Nursing Services will be responsible for the design and implementation of staffing patterns.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Assists in recordkeeping and documentation of staff schedules, including monitoring attendance
- Collaborates and facilitates with the VP of Operations, VP of Clinical Services and facility leaders to conduct CNA/Nurse evaluations of performance following completion of probationary period and annually thereafter
- Track and report Rennes travel team in-service hours, certifications, licenses
- Reviews complaints and grievances pertinent to scheduling and staffing and makes necessary oral and/or written reports to VP of Operations
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Establishes staffing patterns and schedules for nurses and nursing assistants
- Works with human resources/recruiting to advise them of staffing needs, terminations, and other information necessary for the smooth flow of work regarding employees
- Maintains the scheduling system for bi-weekly payroll
- Assists employees in accurate completion of forms pertinent to scheduling and staffing, including timecards, time off requests and leave of absence paperwork
- Assists in securing staff for absences, leaves, etc., adjusting schedules as required.
- Maintains records on vacations, sick leave, leaves of absence, holidays, excused and unexcused absences, and recommends appropriate action
- Coordinates contract staff as needed based on facility need
- Manages communication between Rennes Group and contracted staffing companies
- Works with human resources to advise on contract terminations, extensions, concerns of contract staff
- Assists recruiting/CNA instructors on coordination of Rennes Health & Rehab Centers CNA Training Program, to include post course follow-up
- Documents employee calls regarding staffing and scheduling functions
- Additional duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Good typing and mathematics skills
- Must possess sensitivity in understanding employees' needs while maintaining a sense of balance to ensure that staffing requirements are met for the facility
