The Intern will receive guidance from the manager, enabling them to have a comprehensive understanding of the Annual Marketing Plan, and actively contribute to the plan's success.

Areas of Learning:
- Contribute captivating content to the Aces Social Media platform on both game and non-game days
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team on website updates, gaining hands-on experience with copywriting and web design
- Gain hands-on experience with professional photography and videography equipment to capture game day events
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of marketing plans, their developmental processes, and the strategic decision-making behind content creation
- Gain insights into an organization's key performance indicators (KPIs), with a specific focus on social media content.
- Develop thorough knowledge as to how digital marketing assets (social media, website, newsletters) are reported and gauged.
Learning Objectives:
- Acquire practical hands-on experience in managing social media in real-time.
- Develop practical knowledge of website backends, specifically WordPress and Forge.
- Master the art of maintaining a consistent brand voice across various platforms.
- Hone skills in live sporting moments.
- Attain an in-depth understanding of sports marketing strategies and content creation.
- Learn the intricacies and importance of event logistics and timing.
- Sharpen your skills in video editing and production.
Timeline:
The Marketing Intern will begin March 1, 2025, and will conclude on September 26, 2025, following the end of the Reno Aces regular season.
Hours:
This intern is encouraged to be present for two (2) Reno Aces games per homestand (approx. 8 hours) and 3 days in the office (approx. 12 hours). Flexibility is available for academic schedules.
The Marketing Intern will begin March 1, 2025, and will conclude on September 26, 2025, following the end of the Reno Aces regular season.
