Director of Sales, RV OEM

Position Overview :
The Director of Sales, RV OEM will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth within the RV OEM sector. This role requires a results-driven leader with deep industry knowledge, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to meet business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities :
This position will be responsible for leading a variety of activities including, but not limited to :
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand market share and drive revenue growth in the RV OEM sector.
Lead and mentor the sales team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and fostering a high-performance sales culture.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key RV OEM customers, distributors, and industry partners.
Identify new business opportunities and work closely with product development teams to align offerings with customer needs.
Negotiate and secure high-value contracts with OEM clients, ensuring long-term partnerships.
Monitor industry trends, competitive activities, and market developments to adapt strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
Oversee sales forecasts, pipeline management, and performance metrics to drive data-driven decision-making.
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to strengthen brand presence.
Travel as needed to engage with customers, attend industry events, and support the sales team.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
7 years of experience in sales leadership, with a proven track record in the RV OEM industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive results and inspire a high-performing sales team.
Experience with NetSuite and Partner Portal software is preferred.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Deep understanding of the RV industry, including market trends and customer needs.
Experience managing complex sales cycles and securing high-value contracts.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Ability to travel as required.

Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
Able to adapt to different time zones and manage a flexible work schedule to accommodate client meetings and industry events.
Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily.
