Behavioral Health Therapist

We are seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist to join our Behavioral Health Team to provide mental health and/or substance abuse counseling for adults in individual, couple, family, and group sessions.

Position Details:

• Full-time employed position with Renown Medical Group as a Provider

• Dedicated team of Therapists, Psychologists, & Psychiatrists .

• Stacie L. Mathewson Behavioral Health & Addiction Institute.

• Deliver problem-focused, recovery oriented services to individuals, couples, families and groups

• EMR:  EPIC

• Formal Academic Affiliation with University of Nevada, Reno School Medicine/Renown

• Opportunity to become a joint faculty member at University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences

• Engagement with learners (interns, medical students, resident physicians) in team-based consultations leads to ongoing learning & educational expansion.

Position Requirements:

• Experience: 2 years as a licensed clinician in mental health setting
• Licensure: Ability to obtain and maintain State of Nevada licensure as LCSW, MFT, or CPC
• Applicants with extensive training in evidence-based psychotherapies such as CBT, DBT, ACT etc are strongly encouraged to apply.
