CONTROLLER
Chula Vista, CA - Direct, Full-Time - On-Site
San Diego-based parts supplier client is seeking a direct-hire Corporate Controller to manage the financial operations of a multi-entity company. This is a hybrid opportunity with a salary budget of up to $140,000 / year, depending upon relevant experience.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Assist in the month-end closing process by preparing journal entries, general account analysis, and account reconciliations
- Reconcile subledgers to the general ledger on a monthly basis
- Ensure financial transactions are recorded in compliance with GAAP
- Respond to information requests, review financial statements and assist with audits
- Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions at month end, ensure accuracy of financial statements and timeliness
- Prepare, review and analyze monthly financial statements for variance reporting
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports
- Develop and maintain documentation of current controls, processes, practices, and workflows
- Record daily cash activity as required
- Perform all other duties as assigned
