The Role:
As the Director of E-Commerce, you will lead our E-Commerce team and our E-Commerce sales strategy. This role is in charge of driving growth and delivering a best-in-class experience for our customers.
You will lead the development and execution of our digital commerce initiatives across various platforms (Amazon, Direct-To-Consumer via our website, etc.) to maximize revenue, optimize customer experiences, and strengthen our brand’s position as a leader in health and wellness technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- E-Commerce Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy that aligns with the company’s growth objectives, customer needs, and market trends. Lead a high-performing team to drive performance across our digital sales channels.
- Platform Optimization & Innovation: Continuously optimize our e-commerce platforms, ensuring seamless navigation, high conversion rates, and exceptional user experiences. Stay ahead of trends to incorporate new digital tools, technologies, and features that improve customer engagement.
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Own the online sales performance by driving revenue and margin growth across all digital channels (website, mobile app, and third-party marketplaces). Set ambitious goals and develop action plans to hit targets.
- Direct-To-Consumer Expansion: Drive an internal growth of our Directo-To-Consumer sales operations by implementing strategy and leading execution.
- Retail Expansion: Strategize, implement, and execute on projects involving introducing our products into small to large sized retail corporations, as we are striving to have our products in more digital stores and in-person locations for customers to purchase.
- Customer Acquisition & Retention: Develop and implement strategies for customer acquisition and retention, with a focus on building a loyal, engaged community around our products. Leverage data to drive personalization and targeted marketing efforts.
- Team Development: Build and lead a talented e-commerce team, providing guidance and mentorship to foster growth and collaboration. Establish clear goals, monitor performance, and ensure professional development.
Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or online retail, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and optimizing digital experiences.
- 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role, with the ability to build and inspire high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital tools, and third-party marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, etc.).
- Experience in data analytics and performance metrics (Google Analytics, A/B testing, etc.) to drive informed decision-making and optimize customer journeys.
- Deep knowledge of digital marketing channels (paid media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, social media, etc.) and how to leverage them for e-commerce growth.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a customer-first mentality and an innovative approach to digital commerce.
- A passion for wellness, technology, and how both intersect to improve people’s lives.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to and collaborate with executive leadership.
- A results-driven mindset with a demonstrated ability to execute and scale e-commerce initiatives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
