Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Studio Assistant to join our team. As a Studio Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our studio. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about photography and video and wants to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic creative environment.
Duties:
- Greeting and assisting clients as they arrive at the studio.
- Answering phone calls and responding to email inquiries.
- Scheduling studio reservations and managing the booking system.
- Providing information about our studio services and pricing.
- Processing payments.
- Keeping the reception area and common spaces tidy.
- Maintaining a positive and helpful demeanor to ensure client satisfaction.
- Setting up and configuring photography equipment, including lighting, cameras, and backdrops.
- Assisting clients with equipment setup and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Ensuring all equipment is well-maintained and in proper working order.
- Managing studio equipment inventory and performing regular inspections.
- Schedule studio reservations.
- Maintaining a clean and organized studio environment.
Experience:
- Previous Work in Studio Settings: Experience working in a studio environment, preferably in creative fields such as photography, film, audio production, or visual arts, demonstrating familiarity with studio equipment and operations.
- Customer Service Experience: Proven track record in customer service roles, with the ability to handle client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide a welcoming and supportive environment for creative professionals.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with technical equipment commonly used in studios, such as lighting, audio and video recording equipment, and computer software for creative production. Ability to troubleshoot minor technical problems is highly desirable.
- Organizational Skills: Experience in managing schedules, organizing spaces, and maintaining inventory. Ability to coordinate studio bookings and manage the logistics of studio usage to maximize efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for interacting with clients, managing bookings, and coordinating with other team members.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Experience working in dynamic environments where multitasking and adapting to various creative processes are required. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate studio clients' schedules.
