Who doesn’t love the feeling of launching a kayak on a lake at sunset?
But purchasing your own equipment gets expensive. Lugging it to the park in your car is a pain.
That’s why we created Rent.Fun: a self-service solution that makes outdoor equipment available wherever and whenever people want to play. Just scan a QR code to unlock and rent a kayak — or now, a set of lawn games — right on the spot.
We started in Spring 2022 with successful kayak rental pilots in Florida and Ohio. Since then, we’ve expanded across the U.S., working with state and local park systems to bring accessible outdoor fun to more communities.
Now, we’re going beyond the water.
Our newest self-service kiosks let users rent pickleball paddles, disc golf sets, cornhole, bocce ball kits, and more — all with the same tap-and-go experience.
We are currently seeking a talented Field Service Technician in Kane, PA
Preview to help install and maintain this equipment. You will have to spend a day or two per month performing scheduled installations, and a few hours each week performing preventative maintenance. All on your own schedule.
This is not a job for someone who likes to sit behind a desk…. this is a job for someone who loves a flexible schedule and staying active, breathing fresh air, and working with their hands.
Job responsibilities include:
- Assembling, troubleshooting, and testing equipment and technology on-site
- Loading and unloading equipment
- Adjusting inventory counts on-site and in our warehouses
- Following best practices and safety procedures.
