Rent Right is located in Prescott Arizona, with properties throughout the Quad Cities area (Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley and Dewey).

JOB DESCRIPTION

Rent Right is excited to be seeking a full time, salaried, receptionist. This highly critical role manages a large volume of incoming calls, inquiries and walk ins while maintaining a consistently positive and friendly attitude. This critical role is the voice and face of our office. A successful candidate always remembers that Rent Right is a service organization.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Currently possess or be willing to obtain an Arizona Real Estate Sales License within 90 days of hire

· Ability to pass a background check which shows a clean and clear record

· Have and maintain a clean driving record with no major infractions

· Follow all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes

· Learn and develop a high knowledge base and understanding of our services, SOP’s and policy and procedures.

· Ability to handle multi-telephone lines with speed and accuracy.

· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, landlords, residents, vendors and the public.

· Attend trainings or meetings as required

· Exercise good judgement and sound decision making skills

· Possess clear communication skills, both written and verbal

· Have great organizational skills and ability to stay on task

· Must have the ability to multi-task efficiently and handle many tasks and demands at one time

· Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

· Ability to learn and perform assigned duties and adhere to prescribed routines.

· Ability to take highly detailed notes after phone conversations or in person meetings.

· Willingness to be adaptable to any situation that may arise

· Ability to say I don’t know but I will find out

· Must be a team player and willing to assist co-workers

· Ability to deescalate conflict without inserting their own dog into the fight

Microsoft Office and Excel

Gmail, Google Calendar, Google documents and spreadsheets

Property Management Software, Appfolio

BELOW IS A LIST OF SOME OF THE DUTIES THIS ROLE PERFORMS:

Open the office.

Distribute or respond to voicemails

Respond to emails and texts.

Reply to property inquires.

Field and deescalate complaints submitted by residents

Log notes in and update information as needed in the property management software.

Answer and direct all incoming phone lines during business hours.

Greet walk-ins and offer hospitality.

Assist people who come to apply in person.

Handle mail distribution and processing.

Check out keys to vendors and locked out residents.

Inventory and order office supplies.

Coordinate lunches and locations for all staff meetings and education events.

Create and post signs during office closures.

Operate computer to access G-mail, Google calendars, and other basic office support software.

Use several software applications such as Word, Excel, Google and AppFolio.

Operate general office equipment such as computer, scanners, printers and shredders.

Maintains files and performs basic accounting functions such as process incoming bills and outgoing check runs to utility companies or vendors.

Build onboarding folders and welcome baskets.

Run our monthly card mailer program.

Run errands as directed such as bank deposits, water service and getting supplies.

Restock kitchen supplies and light cleaning.

Shut down the office each evening and on weekends.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

· W2 salary starting at $39,520 equivalent to $19/hour

· Federal Holidays off and paid

· Granted PTO – 10 days per calendar year

· NAR, AAR and PAAR Dues: Paid by Rent Right for Non-member MLS Status

WHAT IS THE HIRING PROCESS LIKE?

All applications are reviewed within a week of closing the job posting.

Qualified candidates are contacted for a brief phone interview.

During the phone interview if we feel a candidate is qualified, we set up an in-person interview.

After the in person interview the final qualified candidates go through a paid, 4 hour working interview.

At the conclusion of that working interview the successful candidate is presented with an offer letter.

Upon acceptance of the offer there is a 90-day probationary period.

Benefits go into effect after completion of the 90-day probationary period.
