Job Overview: We are seeking a friendly, proactive, and versatile individual to join our team as a Guest Experience and Facility Support Specialist. This role combines minor maintenance duties with direct interaction with guests, ensuring both the cleanliness of the environment and a positive guest experience. You will be responsible for resolving any immediate issues, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and assisting with light facility upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Interaction:
- Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Provide helpful information about the facility, services, and local area.
- Ensure that guests have a positive and memorable experience during their visit.
- Facility Maintenance:
- Perform minor maintenance tasks such as trash pickup, clearing debris, and ensuring common areas are clean and tidy.
- Assist with setting up and maintaining equipment and furniture in public spaces.
- Report any larger maintenance issues to the appropriate team or department.
- Problem Resolution:
- Quickly and effectively respond to any guest concerns or facility issues, ensuring all problems are resolved promptly or escalated as needed.
- Follow established protocols for handling emergencies or urgent situations.
- Cleanliness and Safety:
- Ensure that all areas of the facility are well-maintained and safe for guests and staff.
- Help monitor the facility’s cleanliness throughout the day, keeping restrooms, hallways, and outdoor spaces in good condition.
- Assist in keeping facilities up to safety codes, reporting any hazards.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless operations.
- Assist with other duties as needed to maintain a pleasant and functional environment for both guests and staff.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to resolve problems quickly and calmly in a guest-centric environment.
- Comfortable performing light maintenance tasks and working outdoors as needed.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing or hospitality role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
