What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Service Coordinator/Sales Associate position at Rental Pro?
Nature of the Work:
Must be able to train and direct activities of subordinates. Oversee the maintenance and repair of internal and external equipment. Electrical, carpentry and welding knowledge is necessary. Order parts, tools and equipment as necessary. Must be courteous, professional and knowledgeable with customers and staff in regard to safety procedures and rental equipment.
Sales experience preferred. Employee will be encouraged to help push sales of agricultural equipment. Commission paid upon successful sale.
Position Tasks & Activities:
- Oversee the records management of all equipment.
- Oversees “Ready to Rent” procedure.
- Maintain warranties, preventative maintenance schedules and repair records.
- Schedule preventative maintenance work with Maintenance Foreman.
- Schedule delegation of workload daily by prioritizing work orders for internal and external repairs.
- Stay informed of equipment failures and safety violations.
- Monitor hours of service department to ensure that budget is maintained.
- Attend update/tech classes.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules and regulations in written or verbal form.
- Push sales of agricultural and construction equipment such as tractors, tractor implements, lawn mowers, used excavators, used skid loaders, etc.
- Perform other duties as requested.
