Rentmeister Total Home Service is a family owned business who is looking for an experienced HVAC Installer / Finisher to join our team!
Full time, Mon-Fri, 7am-5 pm, Pay based on Experience. Tasks / Responsibilities
- Push, pull and lift to 50lbs
- Interpret building codes and regulations as they relate to HVAC
- Diagnose problems and make recommendations, repair and replace damaged parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans and wiring diagrams
- Work independently in the absence of supervision
- Work closely with colleagues as part of an integrated team
- Follow standard processes to accomplish tasks
- Communicate orally and in writing, understand and follow oral and written directions
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work
- Safely operate company vehicles, machinery, and equipment
- Recognize safety hazards commonly found in HVAC operations, and identify and implement appropriate controls to ensure safe work
- Provide knowledge and train apprentices and newly assigned technicians
- Install HVAC systems
- Take responsibility for 100% inspection of the home in the final steps
- Install registers and grills throughout the home
- Set up condenser / heat pump according to builders specifications
- Start up condenser, furnace or mini split to ensure operation
