We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. This role plays an integral part in ensuring smooth daily operations, providing outstanding patient care, and maintaining high clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care:
- Greet patients and prepare them for treatments, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed.
- Assist in patient consultations, documenting medical histories, allergies, and treatment plans.
- Perform pre- and post-treatment care instructions with patients, answering any questions.
Clinical Support:
- Set up and sanitize treatment rooms and equipment according to medical standards.
- Assist providers with medical aesthetic procedures such as laser treatments, injectables, microneedling, and chemical peels.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments as needed.
Administrative Duties:
- Schedule appointments, confirm bookings, and manage patient follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Monitor and reorder medical supplies and inventory to ensure the clinic is fully stocked.
Sales & Marketing:
- Educate patients about available products and services, upselling where appropriate.
- Support promotional events, loyalty programs, and patient outreach efforts.
Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards.
- Stay informed about new procedures, technologies, and best practices in medical aesthetics.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a MedSpa, dermatology, or plastic surgery setting is preferred.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Technical Skills: Experience with medical devices (e.g., lasers, microneedling pens) is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
