The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of laws, regulations, and procedures related to criminal law and law enforcement.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Providing secure transportation services for prisoners and other individuals to and from various facilities.
- Supervising juveniles, prisoners, and other secured individuals during transport and court proceedings.
- Managing courtroom activities, preparing courtrooms for trials, and ensuring the security of the courthouse.
- Executing warrants, summonses, and other processes, making arrests, and complying with lawful directives from the court.
- Conducting routine patrols, monitoring, and providing security for the Renville County campus.
- Responding to and addressing calls for service at the courthouse, evacuating and securing the building in emergency situations.
- Collaborating with the Sheriff's Office, law enforcement officers, and correctional officers as necessary.
