The Accounts Receivable Clerk position entails a wide range of responsibilities mostly related to the analysis of customer accounts, payment processing, cash application, resolving discrepancies, and preparing management reports including the accounts receivable aging report. The position should carry an advanced sense of integrity and commitment to customer service. This position will report to the Controller extensively with sales, customer service, and other internal departments to ensure clear communications and proper expectations.

Job Duties:
- Work closely with sales, customer service, and internal support staff as needed to resolve customer disputes and assist in problem solving
- Prepare, maintain, and review accounts receivable aging reports to ensure that customer accounts are reconciled and that all billings, payments, and credits have been identified and processed
- Maintain accounting records in NetSuite and Sage
- Process and apply customer payments using checks, credit card, ACH, wire transfers, and payment platforms
- Process daily cash deposits
- Research customer payment issues
- Daily tracking, application, and reconciliation of revenue, receipts, and seller fees from ecommerce platforms
- Generates financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
- Prepare bank account reconciliations
Skills/Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Accounting or Bookkeeping preferred or 2 years accounts receivable work experience
- Experience with Microsoft software including but not limited to: Word, Excel, and Outlook required
- Experience with ecommerce platform seller software preferred
- Strong work ethic with attention-to-detail
- Comfortable working independently and as a team player
- Excellent organization, planning, time management and prioritization skills
- Strong customer focus
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience with Oracle NetSuite a plus.
