IT Support Specialist
The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing a combination of on-site and remote IT support to customers who utilize RepowerIT as their managed services provider.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of computer hardware, peripherals, and networking gear
- Base understanding of ITIL standards and practices is a plus, but not required
- Comfortable engaging with end-users via multi-method communication: email, phone, in person, remote sessions, etc
- Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Experience working a ticketing or service management system is a plus, but not required
- Understanding of common security vulnerabilities as they can apply to email, endpoints, servers, and networks
- Knowledge in TCP/IP, IPv4, VLANs, and firewalls
- Experience with installation of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Experience with administration of Microsoft 365, including Autopilot, Intune, and Entra ID
- Familiarity with virtual machines and networking systems within a virtual environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and without supervision
- Proven track record of working effectively at any previous positions, regardless of industry
Key responsibilities include:
- Respond to and resolve client incidents and service requests in an organized, timely, and independent manner
- Create and update documentation as necessary to outline the required steps to perform various technical tasks
- Understand, deploy, and maintain various cloud solutions onto client systems and networks
- Set up, configure, and maintain network equipment
- Establish rules to automate system patching, updates, and controls
- Perform periodic assessments to ensure hardware and software performance and configurations are in line with current standards
- Establish and administer Microsoft 365 tenants and users
Compensation & Perks:
- Compensation of between $22-27 per hour. Overtime is not required, but may be available.
- 3 weeks of PTO your first year, based upon full-time employment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
