About the role:
This position will support the direct marketing program with a specific focus on growing the mid level donor segment and will utilize a mix of direct marketing and major donor tactics. You will work closely with the Major Gifts and Digital teams to ensure brand and message cohesion across all donor segments allowing for a seamless ladder of engagement from grassroots to mid level to major donor.

Salary: $55,000-$68,000
In this role, you will:
- In concert with the Assistant Director of Direct Marketing, plan and execute all aspects of the mid level Ruth Bader Ginsburg (RBG) mail program with excellence, including developing the annual calendar, creating letter concepts, drafting content, managing approvals, and working with our mail vendor for printing and mailing;
- Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Direct Marketing to create a robust cycle of cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship for the mid level program ensuring that Repro Freedom for All’s brand is used consistently and a racial justice and equality lens is evident;
- Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Direct Marketing to develop a direct mail and telemarketing campaign to upgrade donors from grassroots to mid level with a specific focus to recruit a more racially and generationally diverse mid level donor base;
- Coordinate with the Digital team to create an email and SMS program for mid level donors that includes cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship;
- Stay current on Repro Freedom for All’s programs and work and coordinate across teams to find innovative ways to keep mid level donors engaged, including, but not limited to, volunteer opportunities, in person events, and virtual briefings;
- Work in close coordination with the major gifts staff to identify mid level donors who are strong major donor prospects and move them into that pipeline;
- Work with the Assistant Director of Direct Marketing and appropriate vendors to analyze the mid level program, specifically, on an regular basis and suggest improvements;
- Support the Assistant Director of Direct Marketing in logistical and administrative tasks including routing copy, editing copy, managing mail calendars, and vendor logistics;
- Foster knowledge of direct marketing and mid level fundraising trends and employ them strategically in your work;
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Three years or more experience in political or non profit major donor or mid level fundraising;
- Fundraising database experience;
- A keen eye for details and keeping things organized;
- Strong writing skills that can be nurtured and grown;
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively connect with donors and help deepen the donor’s relationship with Reproductive Freedom for All;
- Demonstrated curiosity and interest in continuous learning and growth;
- Knowledge of diverse groups, demonstrated interest in working with a multicultural workforce. and sensitivity to and appreciation of cultural differences;
- Commitment to ensuring anti-racism, diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the heart of our work and our organization;
- Clear understanding of, and commitment to, Reproductive Freedom for All's mission and goals.
Nice-to-haves (or excited-to-learns):
- Advanced skills with Excel/Google Sheets and/or similar software;
- Direct mail marketing experience;
- Experience managing customer relationship management (CRM) tool.
