Reproductive Medicine Associates of Michigan is Michigan’s premier provider of compassionate and patient-focused fertility and reproductive services, delivered through a dedicated, diverse, and expert team of clinical, laboratory, and administrative staff. We offer state-of-the-art fertility treatments with an intimate, empathic approach to patient care. Reproductive Medicine Associates of Michigan is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to join our highly motivated and results driven team of healthcare professionals. Work schedule is 8 hour days, Monday - Friday with shifts starting as early as 5:30 am, 6:00 am, and 6:30 am. Weekend and holiday is rotational. Weekend and holiday shifts are 5:30 am- 10:30 am Saturday and Sunday.
High volume of phlebotomy (70 ) per day
- Computer data entry
- Assist physicians with exams and procedures such as insemination's, hysterosalpingograms, hysteroscopies and oocyte retrievals. (On the job training will be provided for these additional duties as needed.)
- Cleaning and sterilizing equipment/autoclave
- Stocking rooms
-Scheduling surgeries
Qualifications and Skills:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Certification in medical assisting preferred
- A minimum of 3 years as a medical assistant
- Possess a customer service attitude recognizing the importance of a positive patient experience
- Ability to work at a fast pace and endure high volumes independently
- Excellent venipuncture technique; able to successfully draw difficult patients
- Data entry and retrieval skills using a computer
- Ability to accurately and effectively communicate with patients and staff
- Ability to work as early as 5:30 AM
