What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Reproductive Medicine Associates - RMA Network?
RMA is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Assistant for the Lake Mary, Fl office. Schedule will be Monday-Friday (8:30a.m. -4:30 p.m.); Rotating Weekends/Holidays
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures
- Accurately document ultrasound report in stim sheet
- Identify specimen for insemination
- Maintain sterile technique
- Perform routine patient assessment
- Clean exam rooms promptly
- Maintain clinical supplies inventory
- Manage lanfax for outside labs, reports, results, prescriptions refills
- Enter all labs and outside reports
- Comfort patients by anticipating patient’s anxieties; answering patient’s questions
- Assure quality care by adhering to therapeutic standards
- Maintain an excellent rapport and working relationship with multidisciplinary teams within the Practice
Requirements:
- Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program required; State certification preferred.
- Minimum 1 years' experience as a Medical Assistant - Preferred
- Women’s Healthcare background preferred.
- Excellent computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
- EMR experience preferred.
- Strong phlebotomy skills- Required.
- Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.
