This position requires collaborating with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments.
We have an immediate opening for a Per Diem Ultrasound Technician to work in our Los Gatos, CA office, Mon-Fri, 7:00-12:00pm, Per Diem, floating to our San Ramon on weekends/holidays. 2-3 holidays per year.
Pay range $45-$48 per hour.
How You’ll Contribute:
We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the Ultrasound Technician is responsible for:
- Performs detailed examinations of the anatomy/pathology.
- Makes necessary measurements & calculations.
- Documents results utilizing our electronic medical records.
- Establishes personal rapport with patients.
- Provides explanations of procedures
What You’ll Bring:
The skills and education we need are:
- Ultrasound certification (RDMS) or RN, NP, LVN, CMA, MA with demonstrated experience in the ultrasound field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in performing follicular sonography or less if demonstrated experience in the ultrasound field and/or completes RSC training and sign off process.
- Current RDMS if certified or RDMS eligible
- Current CPR certification required.
- Must have vaginal ultrasound experience.
- MUST be able to travel throughout the San Francisco Bay area (Oakland, San Ramon, Foster City, Los Gatos)
- Ability to access, input and retrieve information from a computer.
- Knowledge of office procedures and office machines (i.e. computer, fax, copier, etc.).
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to communicate accurately and concisely.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated expertise in continuous quality improvement, customer service, and team building.
