Description
GENERAL FUNCTION: Daily reconciling of general ledger accounts and bank owned DDA accounts. Research and post corrections to general ledger accounts and customer accounts. Corrects out of balance issues. Monitoring of multiple reports. Performs a variety of tasks and projects. Manages and maintains efficient operational processes and procedures. Ability to multi-task and back up other Deposit Operations team members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Research and process customer adjustments, including those received via the Federal Reserve Bank.
-
Daily review of ACH reports. Provide research and assistance on all ACH correspondences and trace requests. Freezing and remitting of funds in accordance with reclamations.

Research and maintenance of customer’s records. Research of customer information for RBC’s legal department.
-
Daily reconciling of various general ledger and DDA accounts.
-
Process and reconcile FRB chargebacks utilizing the TRIPS system. Review received large dollar notifications; place holds on accounts as needed.

Non-post, overdraft and uncollected items review, processing and reconciling.
-
Responsible for the returning and reconciling of all return items.
-
Prepare outstanding overdraft letters. Report customers to ChexSystems as appropriate.
-
Verify account activity on inactive and dormant accounts, releasing of dormant status.
-
Stop payment verification/maintenance.
-
Daily review of date, amount, signature and endorsements on large items.
-
Handle calls, emails and provide support to various employees/departments to help resolve issues.
-
Official items, review of signatures/limits. Reconciling and adjustment of official accounts.
-
Daily review of multiple fraud monitoring systems. Works with the banking centers, account officers and security officer on a variety of fraud claims.

Assist the AMTF with research, report review and account investigation.
-
Daily reconcilement of ATM/Debit Card and Internet Banking activity. Review daily Internet Banking and Mobile Banking reports. Performs file maintenance on the ATM and Internet Banking systems as needed.

Perform debit/credit entry to customer accounts. Prepare and submit disputes in compliance with Regulation E and NACHA timeframes/guidelines.

Place extended holds in accordance with Reg CC.

Reg D review, monitoring and customer notification (letters).

Assist with the processing, review and authentication of new Business Internet Banking applications and RDC setups.
-
Monitoring, reconciling and remittance of IOLTA accounts.
-
Daily reconcilement of Dunbar (Safe vaults).
-
Completion of asset verification requests.
-
Provide support in the escheatment process.
-
Works with the Deposit Operation Manager and Assistant Deposit Operations Manager on a variety of projects and audits.

Provide support and backup in all areas of the Operations Department.

Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years experience within the financial industry.

Ability to multi-task and to be flexible.

Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Strong typing/PC skills.

Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

In-depth knowledge of Deposit Operations policies and procedures.
