GENERAL FUNCTION: Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the loan servicing functions required in order to maintain the bank’s loan portfolio and service all loan customers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare the daily balancing for Loan Control, other daily GLs, and internal deposit accounts as assigned.
- Prepare the month-end balancing for Loan Control, other month-end GLs, and internal deposit accounts as assigned.
- Review the GL Auto balancing report on a daily basis and research any out of balance conditions in order to clear them in a timely manner.
- Review the file maintenance performed by the department in connection with the system generated reports to ensure that all actions were performed accurately and under proper authority.
- Review the maintenance cross check report on a daily basis and research any errors that need to be cleared.
- Review the Bank Control Change report for accurate rate changes and other changes performed within the loan system, as assigned.
- Review the loan disbursement check log on a daily basis.
- Prepare various month-end reports, as assigned.
- Perform research and prepare information requested on loans for legal purposes.
- Assist customers with inquiries.
- Retrieve voicemail messages from department voicemail and respond or forward appropriately in a timely manner.
- Research and respond to credit bureau disputes, VOMs, and credit inquiries.
- Access, review, and process reports, checklists, and procedures assigned in connection with the above responsibilities.
- Travel to Darien office on occasion, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required
- High School Diploma or its equivalent.
- 2 years loan processing or loan servicing experience with a focus in commercial lending preferred.
- Familiar with a variety of the lending and general banking concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Knowledge of Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work and think independently.
