GENERAL FUNCTION: Develop and enhance existing and new client relationships within all markets serviced by Republic Bank (“RBC”), with a primary focus on commercial lending, and treasury management services within the MSB Division. Manage the collection and review of customer information specifically as it relates to underwriting and compliance maintenance. Provide solutions to clients by using new and existing products and services. Evaluating MSB clients to ensure existing policies and guidelines are adhered to and that a sound loan and account portfolio is maintained. This individual will collaborate with the MSB Manager, Relationship Management team, Operations team, and Compliance staff, to ensure that the MSB Division is compliant with all applicable laws, regulations, RBC and MSB policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Act as primary point of contact for specified portfolio of customers, to promote Republic Bank’s MSB Division.

Promotion of MSB Division and its products, services, and personnel.

Referrals to other Republic Bank divisions

Attendance at industry trade shows

Point of contact to initiate a relationship between a potential customer and Republic Bank.

Collects customer information specifically as it concerns the underwriting of MSB credit facilities and accounts as well as ongoing compliance maintenance.

Presents decisions to the MSB Manager as it concerns credit facilities and accounts. Presentations shall be made to the loan committee meetings as appropriate.

Maintains and monitors the MSB Division loan and account portfolio from a credit risk perspective.

Assists MSB Manager in maintaining the loan and account portfolio. This includes determining risk and yield returns on account relationships, which is often inter-related with traditional credit facilities. Presentation of monthly credit reports to MSB Manager.

Works in conjunction with Customer Service Representatives (“CSRs”) and MSB Manager in determining the quality of individual relationships and identifying any problems, which may include customer operations, compliance, or credit.

Preparation and delivery of account and credit presentations.

Monitors MSB client activity to ensure covenant compliance, proposing improvements where needed, and increasing his/her knowledge base concerning underwriting, BSA, and AML regulations.

Assist with outgoing communication of the credit and/or account review function.

Assists in the preparation and maintenance of industry macro studies and develop trends and analysis of the industry as a whole

Participates in strategic projects representing the MSB Relationship Management Team on an as needed basis.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervisory responsibilities will be assigned if applicable.
EXPECTATIONS:
Achieve goals as set forth by SVP / MSB Manager, which corresponds with the bank-wide budget.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

College degree required.

At least 4 years of financial analysis, loan/credit underwriting or equivalent experience.

Experience within the MSB or alternative financial services industries is preferred.

A high degree of interpersonal skills and the ability to work directly with companies and their owners as well as the various bank departments upon which the division is dependent.

The ability to effectively listen to clients and offer appropriate solutions for them to grow their business.

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
-
Basic office computer skills.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
