POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
The Treasury Management Specialist is responsible for Treasury Management customer service and overall support of the Treasury Management operations area. This position will be expected to resolve client issues by developing a strong understanding of Treasury Management product and services and working directly with associates in other bank operations. In addition, this position will assist in setting up new accounts, providing customer training, and completing other projects as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2 years of work experience in a banking operations role preferred.
• Working knowledge of deposit accounts, Treasury Management products and systems, wire transfers, lockbox transactions, and ACH preferred.
• Proficiency in Republic Bank & Trust systems and applications, such as CICS preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Research and troubleshoot customer inquiries and issues related to ACH transactions, lockbox transactions, wire transfers, online business banking applications, and other issues.
• Initiate wire transfers and monitor account balances and funds transfers. Seek necessary approvals as needed.
• Assist in setting up new accounts and in training customers on Treasury Management systems and products.
• Look for innovative ways for improving customer service, internal controls, and streamlining processes.
• Assist in distributing monthly departmental management reports as appropriate.
• Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements affecting your position and area of responsibilities and actively learn new regulations and assist in the implementation, if required.
• Model and foster behaviors that support the Bank’s values and corporate culture creating an atmosphere of trust, cooperation, accountability, and dedication to the organization.
• Willingly perform all other duties and projects as assigned.

• Excellent ability to deal with client issues, questions and/or complaints.
• Requires a strong sense of urgency in assisting Treasury Management officers.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Travel between Republic Banking facilities may be required.
• Occasional out-of-town travel may be required.
• Flexible work schedule that will include some evenings, weekends, and overtime.
• Stay abreast of new developments, best practices, and statutory and regulatory changes.
