Job Summary:
Provides support to the branch office by assisting with administrative duties related to escrow closings.
Essential Functions:
Prepare funding package per lender instructions and send all requested documents to lender contact for funding authorization; balance/fund/disburse file (cut checks/wires & manage delivery of funds to all parties); prepare file in accordance with shipping instructions and send the file to the shipping department; handle post closing matters as needed; provide assistance as requested in issuing commitments, ordering payoffs and general processing; backup receptionist as needed; assist with customer phone calls as needed.
Typical Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Typical Range of Experience:
1 to 3 years’ experience in a related real estate or title field
Independence/Supervision:
Limited supervision
Reports to:
Branch Manager
Working Conditions or Accommodations:
May lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used:
Strong customer service orientation; attention to detail; excellent verbal communication skills; general clerical & computer skills; MS Office knowledge; experience with “FAST” escrow system; strong organization skills; ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast pace environment. Exceptional work ethic required and availability to work overtime as needed.
