RN / Registered Nurse - Hospice Admissions
Our organization's hospice admissions registered nurses are the core of our team. In this role, you will support patients by delivering direct care and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure that both patients and their families have an optimal care experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients and families.
- Develop and reevaluate patient plans of care as necessary.
- Administer medication and treatment as prescribed by the physician in the plan of care.
- Provide counseling to patients and families in meeting nursing and related needs.
- Maintain accurate clinical notes and communicate effectively with the physician and interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure to practice in the state of operation.
- 1 year nursing experience required, 3 years preferred.
- Experience in hospice or a similar setting preferred.
