Compensation: Range is $220k-250k plus 40% bonus eligible (depending on experience) per year. Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, company paid life insurance, profit sharing potential, matching 401k, and paid time off.
Physical Demands: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and using a computer. Regular use of office equipment such as keyboards, telephones, and other office machinery.

With a hands-on approach to all aspects of an organization’s finances, a VP of Finance must ensure a company complies with regulations specific to that industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Manages the work of a team that supports RESA Power Finance and/or accounting function(s).
- Partner with the CFO to support corporate finance activities such as but not limited to advising on RESA financial planning, forecast, and strategies to support Company’s vision and mission.
- Keep careful tabs on regular transactions, investments and any business deals that affect the bottom line.
- Monitor or review all financial transactions/processes.
- Work with the CFO in creating, implementing, annual budgeting processes.
- In conjunction with the CFO, review the company’s progress toward meeting revenue goals and advising as necessary.
- Regular financial reporting (e.g. preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements), forecasts, planning, budgeting, financial analysis, cash management, and procurement
- Ensure team prepares for internal or external audits and makes certain that financial reporting is completed properly, and that all documentation follows applicable regulations
- Champion practices to improve individual and organizational performance for the finance team. Audit and improve productivity and effectiveness of current cross team processes.
- Establishes departmental policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization's long-term success.
- Establishes key performance indicators for the function, sets goals for direct reports that are aligned with organizational objectives.
- Assesses departmental performance and subsequently develops and implements process improvements or enhancements.
- Other duties as assigned by CFO.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and minimum 15 years of financial experience.
- CPA required
- Ability to oversee all accounting and financial functions as assigned
- Strong tracking methods for revenue and expenses.
- Ability to oversee development, oversight, and management of the organization’s investment plan.
- Ability to drive strategic direction.
- Collaborative team player who works to bring people and results together. Ability to form lasting partnerships with BU leaders and GMs.
- Opportunistic with a “Bias to Action”. Results driven yet focused on doing things “the right way” for long term success.
- Optimistic and a “can do” attitude.
- Competent with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills. Experience presenting in front of groups, C-Level executives, and senior decision makers. Ability to conduct effective presentations remotely using video conferencing software such as Zoom, Teams, etc.
- Ability to confidently and effectively engage high-level decision makers in respective businesses and cultivate relationships at the C-Suite level.
- Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed.
- Strong analytical, technical and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed to meet customers and internal stakeholders.
- For positions that utilize a company vehicle, you will be required to have a valid driver’s license.
