RESCAR is rapidly growingand searching for a Track Foreman to lead our crew out of our Gonzalez Service Center.
What You'll Do:
- Supervise the Installation of railroad track and embankments including special track work, road crossings, signage, and rail lubricators
- Use hand and power tools and a wide variety of sizes and types of track machines including: Spike pullers, spike drivers, tie adze, hydraulic rail jacks, power wrenches, tie boring machines, rail drills, rail grinders, and rail saws
- Operate Highway trucks equipped with rail guide wheels, hydraulic booms, and lift gates to remove and replace ties, rails, fasteners - cut or screw spikes, anti-creepers, bolts, elastic clips, insulators, rail seat pads, and conventional and insulated rail joints, special track work components, crushed rock ballast, crossing surfaces, paving, subgrade material, vegetation, signs, and structures.
WhatYou'll Need:
- 1-3 years working in the rail industry preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Updated background check, drug test and physical
- Continuous mental and visual attention is required to perform duties (such as working around heavy and moving equipment), involving repetitive or diversified work requiring constant alertness or activity, required
