RESCAR is rapidly growingand searching for switching and track personnel to fill open positions in our GonzalesService Center.
Previous experience required.
What You'll Do:
- Construct and maintain the railroad track infrastructure to insure safe and efficient service to our customers
- Inspect, unload, load, distribute, pick-up, install cross ties, switch ties, other track material and ballast.
- Inspect, patrol, construct, install, retire, remove, surface, gauge, line, and shift track.
- Inspect, protect, flag, construct, install, maintain, and repair road crossings.
- Inspect, unload, distribute, load, pick-up, install, grind, and transpose rail.
- Inspect, dismantle, remove, maintain, repair and paint station facilities.
WhatYou'll Need:
- 1-3 years working in the rail industry preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Updated background check, drug test and physical
- The ability to pass basic track rules test
- Continuous mental and visual attention is required to perform duties (such as working around heavy and moving equipment), involving repetitive or diversified work requiring constant alertness or activity, required
