Job Description:
The Liverpool Thrifty Shopper is seeking a Part-time Sales Associate I. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service and driving sales in a retail environment. This position requires a high level of product knowledge and the ability to effectively communicate with customers to identify their needs and recommend products that meet those needs. The Sales Associate I will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store, restocking merchandise, and processing transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to all customers
- Identify customer needs and recommend products that meet those needs
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized store
- Restock merchandise as needed
- Assist with inventory management
- Meet and exceed sales goals
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior retail sales experience preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
