Accounting Clerk

We are looking for a dynamic and energetic Accounting Clerk. InstroTek is the leader in products and technology innovation for the construction material testing industry. Responsibilities

• A/R or A/P Invoicing
• Processing and posting freight bills (FedEx, UPS, and R&L Carriers)
• Some accounts payable processing of bills (drop ship if matches)
• Process customer payments - checks, credit cards, ACH/EFT
• Handle customer inquiries regarding account, copies of invoice, etc.
• Sort and process incoming mail
• Any Provide backup to A/P invoicing as required
• other functions and projects assigned by the Accounting Manager
• Minor Collections, using both verbal and written communication

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is expected
• Experience with MS Dynamics a definite plus
• Data entry, computation, and administrative skills
• Strong working knowledge of Excel
• Experience in ERP systems a plus
• Strong organizational skills
• Customer service oriented
• Manage many tasks while adhering to strict deadlines

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent experience
• 2 Years of office clerical experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely maneuver around an office setting and cubicle environment
• Ability to lift and carry standard office supplies
• Required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds
