Pay Range:
$16.80 - $23.10Pay Rate: $18/hour
Bio-Techne is seeking an intern who can support our global People team with a focus on supporting defined strategic HR initiatives. In this role, you would assist the People Enrichment and Talent teams on priorities related to Strengthening the Foundation with tasks such as defining global onboarding, updating job profiles, outlining core processes, engaging with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) etc. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in getting exposure to the Centers of Excellence within HR.
This summer internship program is paid, with full-time hours during the day, and based out of our Minneapolis, MN headquarters on a hybrid schedule. Please note that no relocation assistance is provided for the internship program.
Job Duties:
Collaborate with HR team members to understand key HR processes related to talent acquisition, onboarding, offboarding, and more.
Complete a current state analysis of global on-boarding programs.
Create documentation around policies, on-boarding, off-boarding, and performance management.
Update existing process documentation and create new standard procedures as needed to streamline team efficiency and improve HR workflow.
Conduct an audit of job descriptions to identify outdated or missing information.
Refine job descriptions for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with company standards and best practices.
Assist with HRIS data auditing and ensure system accuracy and completeness.
Engage with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to understand needs and inform belonging at Bio-Techne.
Job Requirements:
Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to the internship
Must have completed (at minimum) the sophomore year of college
Must have a current GPA of 3.0 or higher
Must be able to work full-time hours during the summer months
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to effectively coordinate projects across multiple departments
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to effectively present information in small groups
Ability to independently research and troubleshoot in order to achieve objectives
