Pay Range:
$78,100.00 - $128,500.00The Data Analyst is seen as the expert in all marketing analytics data sources and reports that support stakeholders throughout the business. They communicate what is in the data to actionable insights and actions to others. They can prioritize the highest impact changes for enhancing existing reporting and creation of new reporting requests as a translator of the data sources to a dashboard.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Collaborates with stakeholders to define KPIs and business questions to then take the data sources available and translate them into reports and dashboards
- Manipulates data to help cleanse or segment it to be able to filter and present data in meaningful ways
- Analyzes the customer journey to measure the ROI of marketing campaigns and channels
- Reports on marketing KPIs against goals to help determine where engagement rate, conversion rates, and sales can increase
- Creates presentations for stakeholders to present key findings for ways to more effectively spend campaign budget, shift channels, or tactics with marketing strategy
- Gathers and analyzes a variety of marketing data sources and connects them to showcase data sources into visualizations
- Reviews data for how we can predict future trends and share insights with stakeholders
- Continuously develop and innovate around both standard, ad-hoc reporting and analytics
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify new opportunities to serve business needs through analysis and reporting
- Participate in data initiatives to better understand our audience, content and product offerings across all platforms and digital marketing channels
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
This position requires a B.A./B.S. or 5 years of professional experience or a combination of education, experience, and training which provides the background necessary for performing the work.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Responsible for offering insights to business stakeholders on performance of existing reports and dashboards for opportunities.
- Experience developing reports and dashboards from a variety of data sources
- Ability to translate business questions and manipulate data to create visualizations in an easily digestible manner
- Intro SQL level knowledge
- Domo experience preferred, but not required
- Experience developing, measuring, and reporting on KPIs
- Experience with marketing tactics and reporting platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics
- A science background is a plus but not required
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
