Pay Range:
$69,800.00 - $114,800.00Position Summary:
The Kit Assembly Supervisor is responsible for the daily management of a kit assembly work team. Under the direction of the area manager, the Supervisor will lead a team of 4-8 direct reports, directing personnel and prioritizing assembly assignments to complete production orders and ensure on-time delivery to customers. The Supervisor will train new personnel on relevant SOPs, collaborate with other departments, and directly assist in the assembly of kit orders.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise personnel and provide guidance to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders
Conduct monthly 1:1 with direct reports and provide feedback on performance and career development
Author, review, and approve controlled documents related to product kitting
Actively participate in continuous improvement projects
Monitor and manage kit assembly inventory
Complete assigned action items related to change control, nonconformance, and CAPA investigations
Review and compile daily, weekly, and monthly production report outs
Coordinate with adjacent departments to troubleshoot kit related issues
Develop a working knowledge of the processes; participate in production when needed
Make recommendations about group projects and priorities, collaborating with other departments or sites as needed
Follow guidelines and comply with all company safety, quality, and training procedures and regulations
Perform additional duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and/or 4 or more years of relevant experience in a production environment
Familiarity with ISO13485 guidelines
Demonstrated leadership ability
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required
Experience with Lean/Six Sigma Manufacturing Methodologies preferred
Must be able to work in a fast-faced environment
Must be able to analyze data in order to make effective decisions
Must have good verbal and written communication skills, especially across different groups
Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Must be able to effectively train new employees
