Job Summary and Qualifications
Responsible for the general supervision of Respiratory Therapy Staff. Responsible for the clinical performance including; shift assignments and workload distribution; maintaining ICU standards and guidelines; training and orienting staff; computer training; and setting up in-services as needed. Verifies and signs off pay roll. Assists the Director in the interviewing, hiring, discipline and performance evaluations of staff. Performs patient care as needed; Assists in the development and maintenance of departmental policies and procedures. Performs departmental quality assurance and performance improvement including routine equipment calibration and functions checks; performance improvement data collection and analysis. Maintains communications with in the department and with other departments; Performs clinical functions within the scope of practice of the department.

Research Psychiatric Center is a 95 bed facility. We offer acute inpatient, day treatment, and community-based outpatient behavioral healthcare.
