What You'll Be Working On
$60,000-$80,000
This is an in-office position with 1 day per week remote. We believe that in-person collaboration in a fast-paced start-up environment is essential for success. The Pay Range For This Role Is
60,000 - 80,000 USD per year(HQ)
In this role you’ll play a crucial part on our Legal team, supporting our company by focusing on franchise compliance and providing crucial help with document production and coordination. The ideal candidate is someone with a knack for detail orientation who has familiarity with the franchising industry.
What You'll Be Working On
- Assist in the drafting, review, and editing of franchise agreements, contracts, and legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries of findings to support business decisions.
- Manage corporate filings and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Organize and maintain legal files and documentation in an efficient, accurate manner.
- Provide general administrative support to the legal department, including scheduling meetings and preparing reports.
- Liaise with outside counsel and regulatory bodies on matters requiring attention.
- Review and prepare responses to franchise-related inquiries and disputes.
- Assist with franchise litigation and other legal proceedings.
- Ensure that all documents comply with relevant legal standards and company policies.
- 2-3 years of paralegal experience, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Paralegal certification preferred (or equivalent education/experience).
- Strong organizational, communication, and research skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software.
- Franchise law knowledge is preferred but not required.
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
