Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Agent to join our team at Residence Inn by Marriott. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive outstanding service and support throughout their stay. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions.
- Complete all required Marriott and NSLM training for the position.
- Assist will training of coworkers
- Have knowledge of and assist with emergency procedures as required.
- Assist with reservations and provide support for group bookings.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
Requirements
- Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
- Team player willing to work with others.
- Guest Service Agents must possess a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests.
- Guest Service Agents must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and problem-solve to effectively deal with internal and external customers.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Flexible and long hours are sometimes required.
- Light work - Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 15 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during the entire shift.
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary including fraud.
- Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
