What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Coordinator position at Residential Elevators?
Residential Elevators is seeking an experienced and motivated Supply Chain coordinator to work our of our manufacturing plant in Crawfordville, FL.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of materials, parts, and products needed for the manufacturing and delivery of our residential elevator systems.
This role requires ensuring efficient inventory management, identifying and addressing supply chain issues, and working closely with various departments to optimize operations and meet customer demands.
This is a position that requires an ability to adapt to fast-paced environments, manage multiple priorities effectively. This candidate will have to have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
With strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret data, identify trends to make informed decisions, the Supply Chain Coordinator must also be able to collaborate with a focus on team-oriented solutions and continuous improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Inventory Management ensuring the accuracy of stock and inventory records, including elevator components, parts, avoiding overstock or stock outs.
- Track inventory levels and collaborate with the purchasing team to reorder materials and components when stock levels are low.
- Optimize stock rotation to ensure the timely availability of parts for production and installation.
- Monitor the end-to-end supply chain process, from procurement to delivery, while identifying potential bottlenecks or issues that could cause delays or adversely impact the quality of our products.
- Proactively resolve supply chain disruptions to minimize any adverse impact on production schedules or customer delivery timelines.
- Analyze supply chain performance data, identify trends, and create reports to management that offer actionable recommendations to optimize supply chain performance and reduce costs.
- Work closely with the purchasing, logistics, production, and installation teams to ensure smooth coordination across all stages of the supply chain.
- Attend cross-functional meetings to address supply chain challenges, improve processes, and ensure alignment with business objectives and customer satisfaction.
