Responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering music therapy services according to company protocols and certification practices
- Informing and educating patients, staff, and facility partners about music therapy
- Establishing therapy objectives as part of patient assessment
- Planning, reviewing, and assessing therapy sessions
- Engaging in active participation through playing instruments, singing, and listening
- Encouraging patient involvement and supporting them through musical responses and improvisation
- Fostering patient creative development and promoting positive behavioral changes
We seek candidates with:
- Bachelor of Music Therapy degree
- Current Board-certified (MT-BC) credential
- State music therapy licensing where required
- At least six months of work/education experience in geriatric healthcare
- At least six months of work/education experience in end-of-life/terminal illness healthcare
