Your key responsibilities in this role will be:
- Ensuring clinical staff meet their productivity goals
- Verifying that case management guidelines are followed by each team member
- Assigning patients to multidisciplinary teams and adjusting schedules as needed
- Providing support and resolving issues for staff members
- Training and developing staff in key areas like recruitment, orientation, patient assignment, and continuous education
- Regularly communicating with support staff to assess current needs and assign patients
- Collaborating with leadership to improve quality, solve problems, and address other challenges facing the Hospice program
- Supporting staff in meeting quality, safety, and competency requirements through ongoing training and professional development
To succeed in this role, you should be a compassionate Hospice Clinical Supervisor After Hours RN with:
- Licensed RN or BSN with a valid state license
- At least 2 years of Hospice experience required
- Preferred: Minimum 1 year of supervisor experience
- Familiarity with regulations governing Hospice operations to ensure compliance
