What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Benefits Administrator - Hybrid Role position at Residential one LLC / RES1?
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team to administer benefits for all employees.
- Maintain an understanding of all company benefits programs and provisions.
- Responsible for orientation preparations including follow-up communications.
- Responsible for reviewing and approving employee benefits enrollments and obtaining additional required documentation, as needed, in a timely manner.
- Routinely audits benefits enrollment information with carriers and correct enrollment data as necessary.
- Maintain and update benefits communications in accordance with the law.
- Ensure 401k data transmission for every pay period is successful and accurate.
- Completes benefits reconciliations to assure that the information going from our benefits administration system is sent to the carriers correctly.
- Assist employees with any benefits related issues.
- Interfaces with our benefits brokers to provide support for employees.
- Open Enrollment administration.
- Works closely and effectively with the Payroll Administrator.
- FMLA and Worker’s Compensation administration.

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in benefits is required.
- Prior knowledge of benefits administration human capital management systems, UKG preferred.
- Experience working with health benefits, 401(k) retirement plan, COBRA, and other employee benefits packages.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook).
- Strong interpersonal communications skills with a strong customer service approach.
- Proven ability to keep personal information confidential.
- Excellent critical thinking and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Able to interact and communicate with all levels of management.
- Can adapt easily to a changing and fast paced environment
