What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner Peds ICU and Transitional Care position at Resiliency LLC?
The Pediatric Transitional Care Unit (TCUP) is a 16-bed unit for infants and children suffering from a variety of conditions or recovering from surgery. The TCU provides care to patients with a moderate to high complexity of disease such as those recovering from solid organ transplantation, requiring non-invasive mechanical ventilation including BIPAP, CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, titration of anticoagulant therapy, and post-operative specialty surgery care (ENT, neurosurgery).
Required Qualifications :
Nurse Practitioner I
Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience working as an RN in a Pediatric ICU or Pediatric Acute Care setting. Applicants without PICU RN experience will be trained to cover Transitional Care only
Master’s Degree in Nursing with an Acute Care pediatric nurse practitioner specialization
Nurse Practitioner II
Minimum of six (6) months PICU or Pediatric Acute Care NP experience. NPs without PICU experience will be trained to cover TCUP only
Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience working as an RN in a Pediatric ICU or Pediatric Acute Care setting. Applicants without PICU RN experience will be trained to cover Transitional Care only
Master’s Degree in Nursing with an Acute Care pediatric nurse practitioner specialization
