We have a passion behind the causes we represent and in order to continue expanding for ourselves and our clients, we are seeking an Entry Level Fundraising Event Coordinator to join our tight-knit team.
We are a unique business, which means the Entry Level Fundraising Event Coordinator position is a unique role! By stepping into the position, you would be trained from the ground up on the ins and outs of community engagement and outreach opportunities. But the best part is, after training takes place, the fun continues! We don’t want someone to simply “check boxes”, instead, we are looking for someone to OWN this role. Do you have ideas for new events? New outreach ideas? Areas in the community that could use a helping hand or another avenue of giving back? That’s what we are looking for!
The Entry Level Fundraising Event Coordinator would be responsible for coordinating and scheduling all of our weekly community-based events, fostering relationships with local businesses and management, and maintaining contracts with national retailers. Our ideal candidate is extremely organized, self-driven and goal oriented, and someone who smiles in the face of a challenge.
Fundraising Event Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Reach out to local businesses and retailers, via in-person visits, email marketing campaigns, and confirmation phone calls, to increase event opportunities
- Create partnerships in the local community aimed at increasing our ability to increase awareness and meet fundraising and revenue generation goals
- Maintain relationships with local businesses and retail partners
- Insure all compliance requirements are being met by team and office
- Schedule and organize all events within the local area
Fundraising Event Coordinator Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or some college coursework completed is preferred but not required
- Experience planning, organizing or hosting events (yes, your sister’s wedding counts!)
- A passion and heart for working with and helping the community
- Ability to speak publicly in front of various sized and diverse groups of people
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Must be self-driven and motivated
Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
